Warranties.
Here’s the straight answer: on a metal roof, the warranty that matters is the paint finish — and that comes from the coating manufacturer, not from us. We supply metal that carries that finish warranty and pass it through to you. We don’t put the Sanders name on coverage we can’t stand behind.
Finish (paint) warranty
Every coated coil we run carries the coating manufacturer’s finish warranty — against chalk, fade, film failure, and loss of adhesion. The exact term depends on the finish (standard vs. premium coating) and the color. Tell us what you’re running and we’ll send the warranty document that applies to your order.
Metal & substrate
Galvalume and galvanized steel carry the mill’s standard substrate warranty. Bare or mill-finish metal is sold as-is. We’ll point you to the mill’s coverage that comes with your order.
What we stand behind
We don’t stack a separate Sanders warranty on top of the manufacturer’s — we’d rather be straight with you than oversell. What we guarantee is the fabrication: bent right and cut to your dimensions, on our 5-day fabrication schedule. If a piece isn’t right, you hear from us first. Because finish coverage depends on your exact color and coating, we send the manufacturer’s warranty document that matches your order — not a one-size blanket PDF. Tell us the finish and color and we’ll get it to you.
